VENEZUELA — CNN.com reports that at least 14 are confirmed dead following a plane crash in southeastern Venezuela on Sept. 13.
The plane was carrying 51 passgeners and crew when it crashed in the state of Bolivar, Gov. Francisco Rangel Gomez said. Four people are still missing.
The plane belongs to the government-owned Conviasa airline and was en route from Isla Margarita to Guayana when it crashed, the governor said.
Best Western hotel clerk Ivan Maradey said he saw the plane tumble into some power lines before hitting the ground and exploding.
