Weekly Crime Reports: Encinitas, Del Mar, Solana Beach

Weekly crime reports from the Sheriff’s Dept. North Coastal Station from Jan. 23 to Jan. 29 for the cities of Encinitas, Del Mar and Solana Beach. All arrestees within these crime reports are presumed innocent.

Sexton, 35, was arrested at 9:27 a.m. on Jan. 23 at Barham Drive, Nordal Road Sprinter Station, Escondido for a misdemeanor citation and was released on an active warrant.

Rodriguez, 32, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. on Jan. 23 at North Santa Fe Avenue, Vista Transit Center, Vista for a misdemeanor citation and was released on an active warrant.

Martinez, 37, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 23 at Oceanside Boulevard, Oceanside, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for a misdemeanor under another agency’s warrant.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for commercial burglary at 1:19 a.m. on Jan. 23 at South Coast Highway 101. The victim reported stolen bills and coins ($100).

Ashly Morris, 36, was reported as a missing person at 6:38 p.m. on Jan. 23 at North El Camino Real, Encinitas.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grand theft at 7:59 p.m. on Jan. 23 at Rosebay Drive, Encinitas. The male victim, 38, reported a stolen black and orange RAD power bike ($1,500).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for commercial burglary at 8:47 a.m. on Jan. 24 at North Highway 101, Pizza Port, Solana Beach. The victim, Pizza Port reported destroyed miscellaneous items ($100), stolen bills and coins ($2,000), and a damaged safe ($1,200).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for commercial burglary at 9:42 a.m. on Jan. 24 at South Highway 101, Sunny Side Solana, Solana Beach. The victim, Sunny Side Solana reported destroyed miscellaneous items ($300), a stolen cash register ($1,000), stolen miscellaneous items ($100), and stolen bills and coins ($4,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for commercial burglary at 8:47 a.m. on Jan. 24 at North Highway 101, Pizza Port, Solana Beach. The victim, Pizza Port, reported stolen miscellaneous items ($100), bills and coins ($2,000), and a damaged safe ($1,200).

Burns, 31, was arrested at 1:51 p.m. on Jan. 24 at South Tremont Street, Oceanside Transit Center, Oceanside for a misdemeanor citation and released on an active warrant.

Rodriguez, 25, was arrested at 7:48 a.m. on Jan. 24 at the Southbound Interstate 5 ramp, San Clemente for possessing marijuana for sale.

Wood, 62, was arrested at 2:18 a.m. on Jan. 25 at North Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for a misdemeanor bench warrant.

Sanders, 40, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 25 at South Cleveland Street, Oceanside Transit Center, Oceanside, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for violating his probation.

Kimball, 48, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. on Jan. 25 at Oceanside Boulevard, College Sprinter Station, Oceanside, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for committing a felony under another agency’s warrant.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grad theft at 1:27 p.m. on Jan. 25 at Mangano Circle, Encinitas. The female victim, 31, and male victim, 33, reported stolen miscellaneous items ($1,500).

Blunt, 18, was arrested at 2:28 p.m. on Jan. 25 at Cathy Lane, Encinitas for battery on a person.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for lost property at 3:27 p.m. on Jan. 25 at North El Camino Real, Encinitas. The female victim, 21, reported a lost article.

Leary, 49, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 25 at Oceanside Boulevard, Plaza Rancho del Oro, Oceanside for a misdemeanor citation and released on an active warrant.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a disturbance at 4:35 p.m. on Jan. 25 at North El Camino Real, Home Depot, Encinitas.

Walker, 36, was arrested at 7:41 a.m. on Jan. 26 at South Cleveland Street, Oceanside Transit Center, Oceanside, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for violating his parole.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for vehicle burglary at 9:13 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Oakbranch Drive, Encinitas. The male victim, 60, reported three stolen red Milwaukee power tools ($857) miscellaneous tools ($577), and a lock ($11).

Steen, 26, was arrested at 9:54 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Urania Avenue, Encinitas for possessing narcotics and paraphernalia.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for petty theft at 9:32 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Swallotail Road, Encinitas. The female victim, 47, reported a stolen purse ($20), Drugs ($50), Miscellaneous items ($200), miscellaneous tools ($30), and an identification card.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for fraud at 11:31 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Azure Way, Encinitas. The female victim, 74, reported stolen intangible personal identifying information ($1,400).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grand theft at 10:26 a.m. on Jan. 26 at North El Camino Real, Vons, Encinitas. The victim, Vons, reported stolen liquor ($2,100).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for vehicle burglary at 11:39 a.m. on Jan. 26 at Villa Blanca Court, Encinitas. The female victim, 49, reported a stolen black Adidas bag ($10) and miscellaneous papers ($1.00).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a stolen vehicle at 1:37 p.m. on Jan. 26 at North El Camino Real, TJ Max, Encinitas. The female victim reported a stolen white 4-door sedan that had now been found.

Bell, 68, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 26 at North El Camino Real, Encinitas for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for fraud at 7:58 p.m. on Jan. 26 at Barbara Avenue Solana Beach. The female victim, 56, reported stolen bills and coins ($1,135).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle at 3:36 a.m. on Jan. 27 at West D Street, Encinitas.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for commercial burglary at 7:38 a.m. on Jan. 27 at Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Mobile, Solana Beach. The victim, Mobil, reported stolen miscellaneous items ($1200).

Micheal Acciardi, 34, was reported as missing at 8:54 a.m. on Jan. 27.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a missing vehicle at 8:15 a.m. on Jan. 27 at Hermes Avenue, Encinitas. The male victim, 54, reported a stolen utility trailer ($8,000) and stolen miscellaneous tools ($30,000).

Kinley, 21, was arrested at 12:59 p.m. on Jan. 27 at La Costa Avenue, Encinitas for possessing controlled narcotic substances and controlled paraphernalia.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for commercial burglary at 12:00 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Lomas Santa Fe Drive, Dixie Line Lumber, Solana Beach. The victim, Dixieline Lumber reported a stolen power tool ($1500).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grand theft at 11:06 a.m. on Jan. 27 at North El Camino Real, Target, Encinitas. The victim, Target, reported stolen miscellaneous items ($5,448).

Stover, 39, was arrested at 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Santa Fe Drive, Vons, Encinitas, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for being under the influence of controlled substances.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for petty theft at 4:46 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Candy Lane, Encinitas. The female victim, 90, reported a stolen wallet ($90), miscellaneous/ID papers ($32),  credit cards, and ATM cards.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grand theft at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Stratford Drive, Encinitas. The female victim, 60, reported stolen automotive parts ($3,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grand theft at 6:07 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Belleview Avenue, Cardiff by the Sea. The female victim, 33, reported stolen automotive parts ($2,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for found narcotics at 11:52 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Santa Fe Drive, Scripps, Encinitas. Sheriff’s deputies found Marijuana.

Treves, 25, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. on Jan. 28 at Aberdeen Drive, Cardiff Office Bar, Encinitas, and booked at the Vista Detention Facility for disorderly conduct under the influence of alcohol.

Sheriff deputies responded to a call for a stolen vehicle at 8:46 a.m. on Jan. 28 at Greenlake Drive, Encinitas. The victim, Hertz Corporation, reported a stolen white 4-door sedan ($27,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for the found property at 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 28 at Chapalita Drive, Encinitas. Sheriff’s deputies found a pistol ($500) and ammunition ($1.00).

Sheriffs deputies responded to a call for shoplifting at 1:57 p.m. on Jan. 28 at North El Camino Real, Barnes, and Nobles, Encinitas. The victim, Barnes, and Noble reported stolen books ($19.99).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for grand theft at 4:18 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Canton Court, Encinitas. The victims reported a stolen bicycle ($1,200) and stolen bills and coins ($40).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for petty theft at 8:44 a.m. on Jan. 29 at Las Banderas Drive, Solana Beach. The male victim, 48, reported a stolen license plate ($32).

Contino, 45, was arrested at 6:59 p.m. on Jan. 29 at East D Street, Encinitas Transit Center, Encinitas for disorderly conduct under the influence of alcohol.
