ESCONDIDO — On July 2, the Escondido Police Department arrested Victor Banderas, 23, of Escondido, closing 67 different cases of graffiti tagging.
Over a five month period, Banderas vandalized both private and public properties throughout the city, from Mountain View Park on the east, to as far west as Palomar Medical Center on Citracado Parkway.
The property damage caused by Banderas is estimated at over $20,000. Banderas is facing dozens of charges for vandalism, many of which will qualify as felonies.  Banderas is currently being held in Vista Detention Facility on a probation violation.
