VALLEY CENTER — A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a 40-year-old man allegedly found with thousands of doses of illicit drugs, authorities said Friday.
At about 5 p.m. Thursday, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office’s Valley Center Crime Suppression Team identified a suspected drug dealer in the 33700 block of Valley Center Road during an ongoing investigation, according to the agency.
Deputies contacted and arrested Bradley Hoskins, who was allegedly found with 182.49 grams of fentanyl, 12.82 grams of methamphetamine, 27.32 grams of Xanax totaling 118 bars, 10 pills of the synthetic hallucinogen 2C-B, five Ecstasy pills, 19 clonazepam pills and two vials of DMT.
Deputies also recovered about 30 small plastic baggies, a small digital scale and $721 in cash, authorities said.
The estimated street value of the fentanyl alone was about $4,500, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the drugs totaled more than 4,000 individual doses and that the packaging materials indicated sales and distribution.
Hoskins was arrested on suspicion of possession and transportation of fentanyl for sale, possession of prescription drugs for sale, possession and transportation of methamphetamine for sale, and felony possession of controlled substances with two or more prior convictions.
He was booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
