Weekly Crime Reports: Encinitas, Del Mar, Solana Beach

Weekly crime reports from the Sheriff’s Dept. North Coastal Station from Sept. 8 to Sept. 15 for the cities of Encinitas, Del Mar and Solana Beach. All arrestees within these crime reports are presumed innocent.

Zak, 41, was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substances paraphernalia at 11:00 p.m. on Sep. 8 at Leucadia Blvd, Encinitas. Deluca, 26, was cited and released for misdemeanor petty theft (shoplifting) at 11:00 p.m. on Sep. 8 at Leucadia Blvd, Encinitas. The commercial victim, a retail store, reported stolen miscellaneous items ($698).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor battery (on a person) at 9:04 p.m. on Sep. 8 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The female victim, 18, reported no apparent injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 6:49 p.m. on Sep. 8 at Santa Fe Dr, Encinitas. The female victim, 28, reported stolen automotive parts ($5,000). 

Massey, 39, was arrested at 2:21 p.m. on Sep. 8 at Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for felony on another agency’s warrant.

Wright, 56, was cited and released for misdemeanor cite and release on active warrant at 8:07 a.m. on Sep. 8 at S Tremont St, Oceanside.

Goss, 61, was arrested at 8:00 a.m. on Sep. 8 at W. Valley Parkway, Escondido, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for felony parole violation and felony vandalism ($400 or more). The victim, a transit district, reported damaged miscellaneous items ($2,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony fraud at 4:29 p.m. on Sep. 8 at S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas. The male victim, 85, reported stolen intangible personal identifying information ($0). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony vandalism ($400 or more) at 7:29 a.m. on Sep. 8 at Avenida De Las Adelsas, Encinitas. The female victim, 65, reported stolen a gray utility vehicle ($20,000). 

Lovin, 64, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. on Sep. 9 at 15th St, Del Mar, and booked at San Diego Central Jail for misdemeanor violation of domestic violence court order and felony threatening an executive officer with violence. 

Price, 53, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on Sep. 9 at Serpentine Dr, Del Mar, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for misdemeanor contempt of court: violation of protective order.

Farias, 24, was arrested at 2:06 p.m. on Sep.9 at S Cleveland St, Oceanside, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for felony prohibited possession of ammunition, and felony on another agency’s warrant. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 1:40 p.m. on Sep. 9 at Sheridan Rd, Encinitas. The male victim, 52, reported stolen automotive parts ($4,209).

Noil, 39, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on Sep. 9 at S Tremont St, Oceanside, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for felony on another agency’s warrant.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor petty theft (shoplifting) at 11:54 a.m. on Sep. 9 at Encinitas Bl, Encinitas. The commercial victim, a food market, reported stolen liquor ($3).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor vandalism ($400 or less) at 10:24 a.m. on Sep. 9 at Santa Fe Dr, Encinitas. The victim, a high school, reported damaged a miscellaneous item ($100). 

Sanudo, 60, was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substances paraphernalia at 12:00 a.m. on Sep. 9 at El Camino Real & Leucadia Blvd, Encinitas. 

Willhite, 50, was cited and released for misdemeanor cite and release on active warrant at 8:30 p.m. on Sep. 9 at S Tremont St, Oceanside. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (residential) at 9:13 p.m. on Sep. 10 at Amphitheatre Dr, Del Mar. The male victim, 71, reported stolen a safe ($200,000), and purses ($1,500).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary at 6:47 p.m. on Sep. 10 at 3rd St, Encinitas. The female victim, 56, reported stolen a computer ($3,000). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (residential) at 11:31 a.m. on Sep. 10 at Barabara Av, Solana Beach. The female victim, 36, reported stolen two televisions ($1,400), miscellaneous food items ($300), two computers ($1,200), and a miscellaneous item ($2). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (vehicle) at 7:46 a.m. on Sep. 10 at Woodlake Dr, Encinitas. The female victim, 45, reported stolen bags ($20) and a backpack ($135).

King, 53, was arrested at 7:10 a.m. on Sep. 10 at E Street & S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for misdemeanor obstruction/resistance of peace officers/emergency medical technicians and felony vandalism. The female victim, 52, and commercial victim, an eyewear store, reported damaged a white Sedan (4-door, automobile) ($2,000), and a window ($1,000). 

Choukri, 30, was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substances paraphernalia at 9:09 p.m. on Sep. 10 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas.

Starnes, 41, was arrested at 6:00 p.m. on Sep. 11 at Encinitas Bl, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for a misdemeanor of being drunk in public.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor battery (on a person) at 5:29 p.m. on Sep. 11 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The female victim, 31, reported an apparent minor injury, and the male victim, 31, reported no apparent injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a missing person at 9:58 p.m. on Sep. 11 at Via Montanosa, Encinitas. The missing adult is a 26 year old male.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 5:37 p.m. on Sep. 11 at S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas. The male victim, 29, reported stolen a bicycle ($3,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 4:40 p.m. on Sep. 11 at Encinitas Bl, Encinitas. The male victim, 50, reported stolen a miscellaneous item ($2,500). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (vehicle) at 10:35 a.m. on Sep. 11 at Oxford Av, Encinitas. The male victim, 28, reported stolen power tools ($1,300) and hand tools ($8,000). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony vehicle theft at 10:21 a.m. on Sep. 11 at Aloha Dr, Encinitas. The female victim, 38, reported stolen a black Sedan (4-door, automobile) ($42,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor petty theft at 9:52 a.m. on Sep. 11 at W. Circle Dr, Solana Beach. The male victim, 63, reported stolen a duffle bag ($50), keys ($1), a miscellaneous item ($1), and miscellaneous papers ($1).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor simple battery at 9:52 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Encinitas Blvd, Encinitas. The female victim, 62, reported no apparent injuries. 

Garcia, 55, was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substances paraphernalia at 2:19 a.m. on Aug. 11 at Piraeus St@ Plato Pl, Encinitas. Daugherty, 29, was cited and released for a misdemeanor of driving with a suspended/revoked license at 2:19 a.m. on Aug. 11 at Piraeus St@ Plato Pl, Encinitas.

Aguilar, 36, was arrested at 12:51 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Caminito Septimo, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for a misdemeanor of being drunk in public. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor petty theft at 9:37 p.m. on Sep. 12 at Melba Rd, Encinitas. The female victim, 33, reported stolen a license plate ($23)

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony vandalism ($400 or more) at 2:49 p.m. on Sep. 12 at Manchester Av, Encinitas. The victim, a water mill, reported damaged miscellaneous items ($8,400).

Sommer, 32, was arrested at 2:03 p.m. on Sep. 12 at Villa Cardiff Dr, Cardiff by the Sea, and booked at San Diego Central Jail for a misdemeanor or being drunk in public.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony assault with a deadly weapon at 6:30 p.m. on Sep. 12 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The male victim, 31, and female victim, 44, both reported apparent minor injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor petty theft at 12:12 p.m. on Sep. 12 at Leucadia Blvd, Encinitas. The female victim, 22, reported stolen a bicycle ($645).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony vehicle theft at 7:57 p.m. on Sep. 12 at Neptune Av, Encinitas. The male victim, (57), reported stolen a silver/aluminum utility vehicle ($30,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor petty theft (shoplifting) at 1:19 p.m. on Sep. 12 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The commercial victim, a sports equipment store, reported stolen duffle bags ($170), and miscellaneous clothing items ($395).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 10:14 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Ocean View Av, Encinitas. The male victim, 49, reported stolen a bicycle ($2,000), along with bicycle parts and accessories ($250).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony vandalism ($400 or more) at 9:13 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Lomas Santa Fe Dr, Solana Beach. The commercial victim, a hardware supplies store, reported damaged a lock ($3,000). 

Cooper, 33, was arrested at 8:48 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Taylor St, San Diego, and booked at San Diego Central Jail for felony threatening to commit a crime with the intent to terrorize, and felony on another agency’s warrant.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (residential) at 8:01 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Caudor St, Encinitas. The male victim, 28, reported stolen bicycles ($1,600).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a missing person at 12:16 p.m. on Sep. 12 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The missing individual is a 43 year old male. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 10:14 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Ocean View Av, Encinitas. The male victim, 49, reported stolen a bicycle ($2,000), and bicycle parts ($250). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 10:44 a.m. on Sep. 12 at Viva Ct, Solana Beach. The female victim, 42, reported stolen automotive parts ($2,000). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for found property at 6:58 p.m. on Sep. 13 at N Coast Highway 101, Encinitas. The found property includes a miscellaneous jewelry item (value unknown).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony assault with a deadly weapon at 5:52 p.m. on Sep. 13 at Via Del Cerrito, Rancho Santa Fe. The female victim, 44, reported no apparent injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor shoplifting at 5:30 p.m. on Sep. 13 at S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas. The commercial victim, a surf shop, reported stolen a hat ($28) and shoes ($60).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony vandalism ($400 or more) at 12:47 p.m. on Sep. 13 at Seabright Ln, Solana Beach. The female victim, 23, reported stolen a black automobile/light truck ($7,000).

Jones, 32, was arrested at 11:06 a.m. on Sep.13 at Block La Madreselva, Rancho Santa Fe, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for felony parole violation.

Green, 42, was arrested at 9:04 a.m. on Sep. 13 at South Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for a misdemeanor of being drunk in public.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (residential) at 11:45 p.m. on Sep. 13 at Jasper St, Encinitas. The male victim, 53, did not report any stolen items. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (vehicle) at 3:37 p.m. on Sep. 13 at Sierra Av, Solana Beach, The male victim, 23, reported stolen U.S currency ($50), a wallet ($50), and a cellular phone ($1,000).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for found property at 12:53 p.m. on Sep. 13 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The found property includes identification cards/documents, credit cards, and miscellaneous items (values unknown).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for found property at 9:19 a.m. on Sep. 13 at San Mario Drive/Highland Drive, Solana Beach. The found property includes keys ($0).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor petty theft at 8:10 a.m. on Sep. 13 at San Elijo Ave/Birmingham Dr, Cardiff by the Sea. The female victim, 38, reported stolen checks ($0). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for misdemeanor simple battery at 3:29 p.m. on Sep. 14 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The male victim, 41, reported an apparent minor injury. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for found property at 1:44 p.m. on Sep. 14 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The found property includes books (value unknown).

Willeby, 35, was arrested at 8:19 p.m. on Sep. 14 at Manchester Av, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for misdemeanor battery (on a person). The male victim, 40, and female victim, 53, both reported no apparent injuries. 

Perez, 31, was arrested at 4:29 p.m. on Sep. 14 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas for a misdemeanor of being drunk in public, and released on intoxication only. 

Pafias, 44, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. on Sep. 14 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas, and booked at Vista Detention Facility for felony burglary (commercial). 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony grand theft at 1:45 p.m. on Sep. 14 at Moonlight Beach, Encinitas. The female victim, 41, reported stolen a wallet ($500), identification cards/documents ($32), credit cards ($0), and miscellaneous items ($300).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony fraud at 12:35 p.m. on Sep. 14 at Oxford Av, Cardiff by the Sea. The female victim, 41, reported stolen intangible personal identifying information ($0).

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for felony burglary (vehicle) at 11:46 a.m. on Sep. 14 at Lake Dr, Cardiff by the Sea. The male victims, 33 and 34, reported stolen credit cards ($0), cameras ($2,778), a wallet ($30), and an identification card/document ($32).

Cherrier, 32, was cited and released for possession of controlled substances paraphernalia at 12:35 a.m. on Sep. 15 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for found narcotics at 6:11 p.m. on Sep. 15 at N El Camino Real, Encinitas. The found narcotics include two drugs. 

Barnette, 62, was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substances paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances at 12:37 a.m. on Sep. 15 at La Costa Av, Carlsbad. Brimhall, 64, was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of controlled substances paraphernalia at 12:37 a.m. on Sep. 15 at La Costa Av, Carlsbad.
