The 2014 Arts Alive banner season is off to an impressive start.
The 2014 Arts Alive Banner unveiling celebration will be held in the former Cabo Grill building at 1950 North Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia, Feb.15 from noon to 4 p.m. The multifaceted community event is now in its 15th year.
SOLANA BEACH — Arts Alive on the Coastal Rail Trail 2012 takes place between noon and 4 p.m. Oct. 6 along Coast Highway between the San Elijo Lagoon and Lomas Santa Fe Drive.

ENCINITAS — To honor the late Councilwoman Maggie Houlihan, organizers behind the annual Arts Alive program intended to display 100 banners with Houlihan’s image on the backside. Houlihan was known for supporting the arts in Encinitas.
