SAN MARCOS — A bank robber who used a demand note to rob a Citibank on South Rancho Santa Fe Road last month has gotten away with the crime so far, and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect.
At 1:46 p.m. Sept. 22, an unidentified suspect entered the bank located across from San Marcos High School and used a demand note to steal money.
Officials describe the robber as a Hispanic male with a heavy build, black hair, about 190 pounds and between the ages of 30 and 35.
He was wearing a long-sleeved button-up style shirt, and an Angels baseball cap.
