VISTA — Statistics show an increase in the number of reported residential burglaries during the first half of this year compared to the same time period last year in the city of Vista, south of Highway 78. Residents can reduce the chance of becoming a residential burglary victim by “target hardening” their homes.
Crime Prevention Specialists have been trained to evaluate homes through the eyes of a burglar. Their training allows them to provide practical, cost effective security recommendations to strengthen areas vulnerable to crime.
