VISTA — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a Saturday night shooting in unincorporated Vista that left one person injured.
Deputies reported that a teenage male was walking near the intersection of Smilax Road and Mimosa Avenue just after 9 p.m. when he was shot. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition.
There are currently no suspects in custody, and there is no suspect description, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
