SAN MARCOS — Mark Robert McHose, 47, died on Feb. 22 after crashing into the side of an SUV at a San Marcos intersection, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
McHose, who lived in Encinitas, was traveling eastbound on his KTM 525 EXC motorcycle on Mission Road at about 1:30 p.m. when he collided with a northbound GMC Yukon at the Pico Avenue intersection.
He was thrown from his motorcycle into the roadway. McHose was transported to Palomar Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arrival, according to authorities.
