ENCINITAS — The Encinitas Sheriff’s Station in conjunction with the Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Task Force conducted 36 compliance audits on sex offenders who live in Encinitas, Solana Beach, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe.
Thirty-one were contacted during the door-to-door operation. Five were not home at the time of the check. SAFE Task Force will conduct follow up compliance checks on the five sex offenders next week.
