ENCINITAS — The council took another step toward acquiring the Pacific View site on Wednesday night.
ENCINITAS — Teresa Barth and Kristin Gaspar, who are splitting this year’s mayor term, painted different pictures of the city’s direction during an occasionally tense State of the City address April 4.
ENCINITAS — Near the steps of the Pacific View property on Thursday, Councilman Tony Kranz and EUSD Board President Marla Strich announced the city would purchase the property from the district for $10 million.
District also postpones auction as a safeguard
ENCINITAS — Just before the clock struck 11 p.m. on Wednesday night, the City Council announced it would submit a confidential offer to buy the Pacific View property.
ENCINITAS — EUSD (Encinitas Union School District) declined the city’s offer to sit down and negotiate one last time before the Pacific View auction.
