ENCINITAS — Dig out your dancing shoes and get your tickets for the Country Hoedown planned for Sept. 14 at the Magdalena Ecke YMCA, 200 Saxony Road.The deadline to register for the evening is Sept. 12. The event goes from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. so you can work up an appetite for the barbecued chicken and ribs dinner that’s included. Cost is $18 for YMCA non-members, $15 for members. A professional square dancer has been booked and you don’t even need a dance partner. Just come ready to take a free square-dance lesson and have fun.
