SAN MARCOS — Law enforcement is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating suspects involved in a home burglary in San Marcos.
On June 30, around 11 a.m., two suspects broke into a home in the 1200 block of South Hampton Road and stole about $20,000 worth of belongings, including jewelry and purses. They then used stolen credit cards to make around $1,300 in fraudulent purchases at multiple stores.
These stores included Albertsons in the 1900 block of West San Marcos Boulevard, Ralphs in the 300 block of South Twin Oaks Valley Road, and Food 4 Less in the 600 block of North Broadway.
Surveillance footage captured a white, newer-model Chevrolet Suburban near the scene of the home burglary and an unknown man and woman outside the home. The woman is described as White, between 30 and 40 years old, with brown hair, wearing a brown “Modelo” hat, a white “Budweiser” T-shirt and black shorts.
The man is described as White and wearing a straw-style hat, a black face mask, sunglasses, black shorts and black shoes.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case.
