Sign up today for the Mitchell Thorp Warrior Spirit 5K Run/Walk Feb. 5 at mitchellthorp.org. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. at Poinsettia Park, 6600 Hidden Valley Road, Carlsbad. Do the chip-timed race or park loop for walkers, plus a family fun festival. The race benefits children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
