SAN MARCOS — The Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing 72‐year‐old Yousif Mikha. He was reported missing just before 8 a.m. Aug. 1, when he left home in the 700 block of Via Bahia in San Marcos.
Family members say Mikha suffers from dementia and needs to take medication for his high blood pressure. He understands very little English, but will respond when his name is called.
Mikha was last seen wearing a black short sleeve tracksuit, black socks and black flipflops. He has white hair and a mustache. Mikha is 5 foot, 7 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
Due to the hot weather and his medical condition, it’s crucial that Mikha is found immediately. If you see Mikha, call the Sheriff’s Department non‐emergency line at (858) 565‐5200.
