North County Food Bank hosts annual Turkey Drive

VISTA — The North County Food Bank in Vista distributed 500 turkeys and tons of other holiday pantry staples to residents on Monday morning during the annual Turkey Drive.

Cars lined up as early as 6:30 a.m. for the drive-through event to receive turkeys, bread, canned beans, potatoes, broth, onions and more.

Food for the drive is acquired via donations to the food bank. Residents can find information about food assistance or donate to the Food Bank online at northcountyfoodbank.org.
