Feb. 16, 1925 – Sept. 15, 2014 Bela Miko, 89, of Oceanside died September 15th after a
short illness. Born in Hungary, raised in Canada, and made in America, Bela loved traveling, meeting new people, and embracing their cultures. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII, and he honored his political freedoms in America. Bela is survived by his sister Helen Molnar of Toronto, his children Robert, Richard, David,
Paula, John, Stephanie, and Christopher (and wife Jessica), ten Grand-Children, and three and a half Great-Grand Children. A long-time Oceanside resident and OPD volunteer, Bela will be interred into the sea off the coast of Oceanside on October 10th. In lieu of flowers
the family would appreciate donations to the Mira Costa College Foundation for the
