A Fallbrook native, a Family Law attorney, a community man…Pierre Domercq was recently honored by the office of San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond with a proclamation to recognize all he has done for the town of Fallbrook.
The presentation took place at the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce State of the Chamber Dinner at Pala Mesa Resort on Sept. 16. The theme was Blazin’ the Trail and our honoree exemplifies it perfectly! Here are some of the highlights about Pierre:
Pierre joined the Board in 2020 with a simple goal: to give back to a community that has given so much to him throughout his life.
Since then, his dedication and service have been remarkable. During his tenure, Pierre has:
• Volunteered with the American Legion and participated in the Fallbrook Veterans Day Parade in support of our military members and veterans.
• Served the Fallbrook Chamber as Director, President-Elect, President and Past President.
• Served on many Fallbrook Chamber committees during his presidency.
• Served as a Chamber Ambassador.
• Dedicated countless hours to community events including the Avocado Festival, Artisan Walk on Alvarado, Harvest Faire, Veterans Day Parade, Artisan Faire and Christmas Parade.
• Extended his leadership by serving an additional year as Past President when the Chamber needed his experience and guidance when an unexpected vacancy arose, ensuring continuity and stability for the organization.
Pierre’s love for Fallbrook runs deep. Having spent his life here, Fallbrook is truly his hometown. He often says that growing up in this community helped shape him into the person he is today and what an extraordinary person he is.
This community volunteer has brought balance, wisdom, professionalism and a wonderfully clever sense of humor to the Chamber Board of Directors. His passion for both the Chamber and the community is evident in everything he does.
Pierre never hesitates to step forward when help is needed. He shows up. He serves. He volunteers. He leads by example. He embodies the spirit of community service and demonstrates the tremendous impact one person can have through dedication, generosity, and commitment.
Even though Pierre has recently retired from the Board, we know his commitment to Fallbrook has not ended. He continues to serve, support and strengthen both the community he loves and the Chamber that has benefited so greatly from his contributions.
Pierre is married to Jeniene, who is an elected official on the Fallbrook Community Planning Group.
The Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce is truly grateful for this man who is also a friend … Pierre Domercq.
