Exciting plans for 2025: Strengthening community, supporting local businesses

As we begin 2025, the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce is focused on connecting, growing and supporting our members. Our businesses are the fabric of our community, and we are committed to meeting the unique needs of every business by providing opportunities to increase visibility, connect with the community, and access valuable professional development.

Through exclusive sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities, as well as networking events and workshops, we ensure our members have the resources they need to thrive. We also offer advocacy and business support, ensuring your voice is heard at the local, state and national levels.

We have an exciting year ahead, with a packed calendar of events that will help strengthen our community. Here’s a preview:

• Community Resource Expo – Feb. 8: A free event to connect businesses and residents, exchange resources, and learn about the wide variety of services in our area.

• State of the City – March 20: Hear from Mayor Bruce Ehlers and local leaders about the city’s progress and future plans while enjoying beverages and delicious bites from local eateries. Tickets are available now.

• Rising Star and Salute to Education Programs: Our monthly Rising Star programs honor exceptional high school seniors from the San Dieguito Union High School District.  Our annual Salute to Education event on May 15 supports selected Rising Star students with scholarships and honors outstanding educators in our community.

• Oktoberfest – September: Set against the backdrop of Southern California’s coastal charm, our free Oktoberfest celebration is our biggest event of the year and promises a fun-filled day of German food, beer, music and family-friendly activities.

• Meet Your Elected Officials Reception – October: An opportunity to engage with local leaders, discuss key issues and collaborate on solutions that benefit our city.

• Small Business Saturday – November: Each holiday season, the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and Visit Encinitas team up with Surfy the Snowman and his rad cousin Shredder to encourage the community to shop, eat, stay and entertain locally.

We invite you to join us! There are still opportunities for sponsorships and exhibitors, so get involved and make the most of these events. With your membership, you’ll enjoy exclusive benefits that help you grow, gain visibility and succeed. Together, let’s continue to make Encinitas a thriving, supportive community for all.
