DEL MAR — Damage from a storm drain has closed Camino Del Mar between Carmel Valley Road and Del Mar Heights Road/4th Street to through traffic in both directions, according to a city official.
The northbound side is closed temporarily, but is anticipated to reopen later today by the evening.
The southbound side is closed until further notice, possibly for a week or longer. This closure includes the bicycle lane.
