Unidentified suspect wanted for armed robbery in Oceanside

OCEANSIDE — San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Oceanside Police Department are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for an armed robbery. 

Detectives said that on June 1, 2012, at approximately 9:55 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the CVS pharmacy, at 1980 College Blvd in Oceanside, and went to the pharmacy counter, where he displayed a handgun and demanded controlled substances. After being given an undetermined amount of medication, the suspect fled through the front door and left in a white Nissan Sentra.

The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes, thin mustache, between 25 to 35 years old, approximately 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and between 130 and 150 pounds. He wore a black knit cap and a black hooded sweatshirt. Security photo is attached.

The reward of up to $3,500 breaks down as follows: Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case Pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P., is offering up to $2,500 in this case.
