ENCINITAS — About 30 residents came to a Q&A session at City Hall Tuesday night to learn more about the status of the Encinitas Community Park.
ENCINITAS — The City Council voted unanimously to issue bonds to pay for the Encinitas Community Park and Moonlight Beach improvements despite some lingering objections by residents Wednesday.
Encinitas — The city recently marked the start of two major projects: the 44-acre Encinitas Community Park, also known as the Hall Property, and Moonlight Beach improvements.
On July 11 the Encinitas City Council voted to fund construction of their tournament sports fields on the Hall site.
ENCINITAS — The City Council voted unanimously to finance the construction of the Encinitas Community Park and Moonlight Beach improvement projects through a mixture of bonds and reallocation of existing money earmarked for other capital projects.
In the State of the City address given earlier this year, Encinitas Mayor Jerome Stocks said Encinitas was in great financial shape.
