Trail to be named for former senator
DEL MAR — In recognition of Christine Kehoe’s longstanding efforts to protect the environment, coastal resources and, most notably, the San Dieguito River, the 22nd District Agricultural Association board of directors agreed at Dec. 17 meeting to name part of the Coast to Crest Trail after the former state senator.

DEL MAR — The 22nd District Agricultural Association board of directors didn’t say yes, but they didn’t say no either to a request from San Diego County Board Supervisor Dave Roberts to expand a proposed joint powers authority with the county to include representatives from Del Mar, Solana Beach and the city of San Diego.
Brown reappoints Day, names new director to fair board
DEL MAR — Gov. Jerry Brown reappointed Adam Day to the board of directors for the 22nd District Agricultural Association, which governs the Del Mar Fairgrounds Oct. 2.
