Sheriff seeks public’s help finding Encinitas woman missing since 2013

ENCINITAS — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s help in locating a North County woman missing since 2013.

Kimberly “Kim” Jo Evans was last seen by her mother on April 30, 2013, at their Encinitas home. Evans reportedly left her home wearing a green plaid blouse and green shorts. She was walking and carrying a suitcase.

Evans has not been seen or heard from since.

Evans is 48-years-old and she has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’6″ and weighs 110 pounds. She is known to use public transportation and travel internationally to places such as Mexico, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
