ENCINITAS — The city of Encinitas Parks and Recreation Department will operate the Seaside Day Camp out of the Scout House in Glen Park in Cardiff during the local school district’s fall break Oct. 18 through Oct. 29. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Recreation activities are offered for youth ages 6 to 12 years and will include arts and crafts, cooking, afternoon snack, games, special events, sports and tournaments.
The weekly fees include all these activities as well as scheduled weekly field trips: week one to Belmont Park in Mission Beach and week two to Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park. Space is limited in the day camp and pre-registration is required.
