COAST CITIES — Race fans taking part in the upcoming inaugural Bing Crosby Season can let NCTD do the driving.North County Transit District and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club are offering the “Pony Express” combo ticket every race day during the 2014 Del Mar Racing Season, which runs through Nov. 30.
The Pony Express is offered to be a hassle-free, environmentally-friendly, affordable way to make your way to the races at Del Mar.
The $11 ticket includes:
—Round-trip fare on the Coaster, regularly $11 (alternatively, Breeze bus route 101 can be used to reach Solana Beach Transit Station)
—Free double-decker shuttle between the Solana Beach Transit Station and the racetrack
—Stretch Run Admission, regularly $6
—Fans will save an additional $10 on parking.
Tickets are available online at gonctd.com/, through NCTD’s mobile app, and at ticket vending machines by selecting “current promotions.
