OCEANSIDE — Community Lutheran Church held a celebration of its 15th anniversary as a congregation, as well as the start of a new building project, with three days of Spiritual Emphasis starting Sept. 19 at the church, 4507 Mission Ave.
Kicking off the three days was a prayer vigil at the church, followed by a banquet dinner at Grandma’s Restaurant the next evening with a special guest speaker Pastor William Vogelsang of Community Lutheran Church in Escondido.
On Sept. 21, Pastor Ollie Olson taught “Rise and Build” with Pastor Tim Jones leading the worship service and Pastor Emeritus Orville Hiepler presenting the message. Following the worship service, there was celebration of the start of the church’s new fall programs with a Rally Day luncheon.
