Local firefighters flipping pancakes

RANCHO SANTA FE — Say your hellos and thanks to local firefighters at the annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday Nov. 3. The event is organized by the Rancho Santa Fe Professional Firefighters Association and Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District and will take place at Rancho Santa Fe Fire Station Two, located at 16930 Four Gee Road in 4S Ranch.

Firefighters are known for their cooking skills, so get there early and in line as district firefighters will be serving pancakes, eggs, orange juice and coffee. For the requested donation of $5 per plate, you’ll get a filling meal. The event is supported by Miguel’s Cocina, Starbucks, and Ralph’s.

Besides cooking, the firefighters will lead guests on an Open House, including station tours, photos with the firefighters, and fire engine, equipment and ambulance displays. Experience what it’s like to spray the fire hose, with a firefighter’s assistance. Hands-only CPR demonstrations will also take place.
