To our quiet majority voters:
The loudmouth bullies who bombard us with half-truths and outright lies, and shame us for not giving them our future to mismanage again, need to be stopped with your votes.
Regardless of political party, choose the best pilot and flight crew to get us to the destination we fought so hard for in 1986: our beautiful new city of Encinitas.
That would be the current pilot and crew, who have gotten our flight back on course better than any others in the last 10 years.
The wings and engines are all of us, faithfully sticking together through the turbulence of those rotten years.
So now, would you and yours take another lap around the globe with a new, substandard and sorely inexperienced pilot and crew? Not likely.
We own our future, not the shaming, big-developer money bullies who try so hard to intimidate us back into the old instabilities.
You know who you are. Now let’s all stay on board and “get ’er done,” because the flight plan of the last two years has been working. The plane is functioning well and getting even better. We can now handle future turbulence competently.
