SDHS Asks the Community for Information in Animal Cruelty Case
OCEANSIDE — San Diego Humane Society is looking for information to identify the person responsible for abandoning a goat in Oceanside on April 29.
Humane Officers received a call around 5:30 p.m. on April 29 about a loose goat running in and out of traffic in the busy intersection of College Boulevard and Marvin Street in the city of Oceanside. A member of the public later provided footage showing someone abandoning the goat and driving away in a four-door, white pickup truck. This is an animal cruelty investigation by San Diego Humane Society’s Humane Law Enforcement.
The goat is friendly and in good health. He is being cared for at San Diego Humane Society’s Escondido Campus.
