CARLSBAD — A haunted house, games, rides, food and a magic show were among the activities at Mission Estancia Elementary School’s fifth annual fall festival held Oct. 11. The event included carnival rides such as Cyclone Swings, Vertical Reality and the spinning Tubs of Fun, as well as pumpkin and cookie decorating, a cake walk, and a chance to test your knowledge against the school’s fifth- and sixth-graders. Planned entertainment included a ventriloquist, a jump rope show and the La Costa Canyon High School tap and jazz troupe.
Funds raised are used to support a variety of PTA activities, including science and art programs, campus beautification, red ribbon week and marine education.
