Annual Valentine’s Day tradition continues

CARLSBAD — Señor Grubby’s will hold its fourth annual “Los Lonelies” Valentine’s Mixer on Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m.

The event, which is at 377 Carlsbad Village Drive, is free and open to the public. Food and drink specials, fun games and prizes will be offered with Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale on draft and pint glass giveaways. Specials include $4 drafts, half-priced bottles of wine, $5 nachos, and a draft or house wine and a two-taco happy hour deal.

The inaugural “Los Lonelies” Mixer was designed to offer an alternative to the traditional, overpriced and stressful holiday many people dread, according to a press release from Señor Grubby’s President Justin Jachura. It is a fun night for singles, couples, friends and families. The mixer was a great success, which is why the Valentine’s Day tradition continues.

The event will be a fun event to help break in the newest Grubby’s addition — its brand new back patio. The back patio features three outdoor televisions, lounge furniture, a large community table, heaters and plenty of space for eating and gathering with family and friends.
