A new kind of family festival coming to North County

Looking for something fun to do with the whole family?

TERI Fest, a free community festival, is coming to San Marcos on Saturday, September 26. From 2 to 6 p.m., families will enjoy an afternoon of live music, food, art, games, miniature horses and activities for all ages and abilities at the TERI Campus of Life.

The festival celebrates TERI’s 46th anniversary and is an opportunity to welcome the community to the Campus and share what TERI is all about.

Founded in 1980, TERI’s mission is to change the way the world sees, helps and empowers individuals with special needs. Today, TERI offers more than 20 programs and services, including education, vocational training, residential services, arts, equestrian and wellness programs.

At the heart of TERI’s vision is the TERI Campus of Life, a 20-acre campus in San Marcos designed to bring people together and improve quality of life at every stage. The Campus is home to TERI programs as well as community spaces including The Bornemann Theatre and TERI Common Grounds Café & Coffee Bar, where the individuals TERI serves and the broader community can learn, work, create and connect.

“TERI Fest is a chance to celebrate 46 years of TERI and share the Campus with our community,” says Cheryl Kilmer, TERI Founder and CEO. “We want people to come have fun, connect with one another and experience what makes TERI so special.”

Whether you’ve been supporting TERI for years or are discovering us for the first time, everyone is welcome. Bring the family, meet up with friends or simply come curious and experience a one-of-a-kind place in North County.

TERI Campus of Life is located at 555 Deer Springs Road in San Marcos. Admission and parking are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
