Wellness Week kicks off with January 23 festival

Encinitas, CA — January 11, 2016 — The Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association will kick off its 6th Annual Wellness Week with a Wellness Festival at the Encinitas Library on Saturday, January 23, from 11am to 3pm.  There will be dozens of exhibitors and presenters offering free product demos/samples, free health screenings, free mini-treatments and educational workshops, plus food vendors, live music and a variety of kids’ activities. Kids activitiesWEB

Enjoy free massages and acupuncture treatments.  Get free health screenings from medical professionals.  Hear presentations on the benefits of essential oils, juicing, and meditation.  Learn new exercises you can do at home.  Bring the whole family, as there will be something of interest for all ages, includes kids’ activities by Healthy Day Partners, food samples and meals from Encinitas Station Farmers Market vendors, and bands performing in front of the library.

Festival exhibits and activities will be held in the library parking lot and in multiple venues inside the library.  Free parking is available at the Encinitas Civic Center, on the west side of the library.

Wellness Week is a week-long program of events and special offers that helps people learn about and experience ways to improve their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.  During the week, from January 23-30, everyone is invited to take advantage of numerous free classes, treatments, consultations and presentations, as well as other community events, including a Wellness Week Happy Hour and the always popular Tibetan Bowl and Gong concert.
