ENCINITAS — Claire Strong, a local media professional with over 20 years of experience, has joined Galvanized Strategies as a senior media coach and media relations consultant, the public affairs and leadership consulting firm announced Tuesday.
Strong has worked as a senior media consultant, radio anchor, co-host and reporter for outlets including the BBC, PBS, The Coast News and NPR affiliates. Based in San Diego, she has extensive experience helping executives, experts and public figures prepare for media appearances and develop compelling messaging.
“Claire is an invaluable addition to our team,” said Aaron Byzak, chief strategist and lead consultant at Galvanized Strategies. “Her blend of front-line media expertise and strategy development positions her to help our clients succeed in today’s media environment.”
Her background includes media training, crisis communication, spokesperson preparation, and interview coaching across various industries. She has conducted hundreds of radio and television broadcasts and was a finalist for Reporter of the Year at the National Radio Awards.

Strong holds a master’s in broadcast journalism from the University of Sheffield in the UK. She is a board member for Fearless Money Management, a nonprofit focused on financial literacy for women.
