SAN MARCOS — The second annual Showdown at Sundown 5K evening run/walk will be held Sep. 25 at Hollandia Park. This event is hosted by the city of San Marcos, Mission Hills High School and Mission Hills Church and sponsored by the Running Center.
Separate open divisions for boys and girls 17 years and under, men and women all start at 6 p.m. while the high school cross country team divisions run at 7 p.m. Prior to race day, the entry fee is $10 for 14 years and under and $20 for 15 years and above. On race day, the entry is $25. Fee includes a drawstring bag and entry for the prize drawings.
