CARLSBAD — Cinépolis will close its La Costa Paseo Real movie theater on Oct. 31, the company announced in a notice to rewards members.
The six-screen theater at 6941 El Camino Real, near the Carlsbad City Library, offers reclining leather seats, in-theater food and drink service and a full bar.
The company thanked customers for their support and invited them to return for a final movie night before the closure. The notice did not explain the decision.
Cinépolis said members’ rewards points, tier status and rewards would remain active at its nearby theaters.
The closing location is separate from Cinépolis La Costa Town Square, an eight-screen theater that opened in February 2020 at 3434 Via Mercato.
