I am relieved that the Coast News did not mention Teresa Barth’s sign on the dais which read, “Don’t let the bastards get you down.” We are so lucky to have a local newspaper that is so in the tank for us and work their hardest to make sure the Council changes over in November. Thanks to Jim Kidd for being with us and overlooking standard professional ethics. Jim also deserves credit for hiring Teresa’s campaign manager, Andrew Audet, to cover Encinitas politics. If we all keep up these negative stories, maybe all the regular folks and families will leave town.
