Y opens Tumble Zone

CARLSBAD — The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA has launched its new 9,000-square-foot Tumble Zone at 6108 Avenida Encinas.The new YMCA Tumble Zone is an extension of the 22,000-square-foot YMCA Gymnastics Center at 6100 Avenida Encinas. The new YMCA Tumble Zone also offers gymnastics and tumbling programs tailored to children up to 10 years old such as Preschool Open Gym, Mommy/Daddy & Me, Transitional Two’s, Tiny Tumblers, Music & Movement, programming for children with special needs, and birthday parties.

The new facility features youth gymnastics equipment, a spring floor, a tumbling pit with rope swing, balance beams, obstacle course, tumble track, parent lounge, birthday party room and more. The center is also home to the Seawind Gymnastics Competition Team and serves more than 5,000 boys and girls through recreation gymnastics programs, tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, snowboard and skate cross-training, open gym and birthday parties.
