SAN DIEGO — Tickets went on sale Wednesday for the 2025 Coachella Valley Invitational, which will feature preseason soccer matches from San Diego’s leading professional soccer clubs, the NWSL’s San Diego Wave FC and the MLS’ newest team, San Diego FC.
The multi-week event scheduled for February at the Empire Polo Club in Indio will feature three games from San Diego FC, two games from San Diego Wave FC, and numerous other matches throughout the month from other MLS and NWSL clubs.
After two closed-door matches in San Diego, San Diego FC will play its first public match in a Feb. 8 preseason showdown with New York City FC. The team will then play the Portland Timbers on Feb. 12 and the New York Red Bulls on Feb. 15.
San Diego Wave FC will play the Houston Dash on Feb. 16 and Bay FC on Feb. 22.
Organizers said next year’s Coachella Valley Invitational will mark the largest-ever preseason event in North American professional soccer history, with a record-setting 20 MLS and NWSL teams participating.
