Thank you Oceanside for your votes!
I would like to thank the voters of Oceanside for electing me to the Oceanside City Council. I am humbled and honored by the confidence you have placed in me.
As part of my campaign, I walked 23 precincts, lost 23 pounds, and spoke to thousands of residents. I want to thank everyone who took the time to speak with me.
I would like to extend an extra special thanks to all my supporters who walked precincts, made phone calls, wrote letters to the editor, waved signs on street corners, placed signs in your yards, and donated to my campaign. My victory would not have been possible without your efforts.
I would also like to thank my wife Karen and my children Justin, Sarah, and David for their support and for enduring all the commotion a campaign brings to the home front.
I would like to invite my supporters to my swearing in ceremony that will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday Dec. 2 in the City Council Chamber at City Hall. Thank you again for the honor of electing me as your City Council member.
