VISTA — In celebration of Rotary International’s 104th birthday, the Vista Chamber of Commerce and the city of Vista have declared Feb. 23 as “Rotary Day in Vista.” The celebration will be held on that day from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Vista Entertainment Center’s upstairs event room. The Vista and Shadowridge Vista Rotary Clubs will honor representatives of organizations the two clubs have contributed to over the years in Vista, and show photos and memorabilia collected by members. City officials will be present along with Mayor Morris Vance who will present the two clubs with a Rotary Day Proclamation. The local Rotary district governor is scheduled to attend.
