The city of Carlsbad’s Snores & S’mores family campout will be held from 5 p.m. Aug. 10, to 9 a.m. Aug. 11, at Aviara Community Park at 6435 Ambrosia Lane. Advance registration is required by Aug. 9 at carlsbadconnect.org under special events. Set up a tent on the field and enjoy movie-themed games, crafts and activities. The evening continues with dinner, s’mores, popcorn and the featured movie under the stars. Continue the camping experience Sunday morning with breakfast and an early morning hike. The event is $25 per person and is free for ages 3 and under.
