The impact of radio examined at MiraCosta

OCEANSIDE — The Impact of Radio on Our Lives is a noncredit, tuition-free class for older adults being offered by MiraCosta College. Adults who lived before the proliferation of television have a special connection to radio and this class will give students an opportunity to discuss and analyze the impact of radio on their lives. The class will also give students a chance to recreate and perform classic radio shows, using the actual scripts that written during the “Golden Age” of radio.
The Impact of Radio on Our Lives class will be offered from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays from Jan. 20 through May 7 at the MiraCosta College Community Learning Center at 1831 Mission Ave., Oceanside.
