ENCINITAS — The 7th annual Taste of Cardiff will be infused with some Latin flair this year.
The event is scheduled for next Thursday, the same day as the Cinco de Mayo holiday.
Event goers will be able to sample food, wine and beer from 30 restaurants and 14 “sip stop” locations throughout the community.
The restaurants will be competing for the Taste of Cardiff Golden Fork Award, awarded to the eatery most popular with event attendees.
Each sip stop will be hosted by a local business, giving “sippers” a chance to check out Cardiff businesses as well.
This year, the event will feature a “Por Siempre” car show, a ballet folklorico performance and a photo opportunity with the popular Camera Camper.
Buy tickets ($30 for food, $40 for food and drink) and check out the 2016 Taste of Cardiff line-up online at tasteofcardiff.com. Early ticket purchase is suggested as the event sells out.
