DEL MAR — Samples from more than two dozen restaurants and 50-plus artists tempted visitors to the annual Del Mar Taste and Art Stroll, held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along 15th Street and the southbound lane of Camino del Mar.
The event also included musical entertainment at three locations, treats for pets and art areas for children that offered face painting and arts and crafts.
Ticketed food tastes featured everything from chili to crepes.
A variety of artists displayed paintings, photography, decorated gourds and jewelry that included traditional creations as well as some from pedals and butterflies.
City officials were on hand to discuss upcoming revitalization for the downtown area. The Del Mar Village Association hosts the event.
