Sprinter delays July 18 and July 19

SAN MARCOS — On July 18 and July 19, the SPRINTER will not operate all day in both directions between Palomar College and San Marcos Civic Center stations due to the construction of a new pedestrian railroad crossing in San Marcos. Bus service will connect SPRINTER passengers between the two stations. Passengers will board NCTD BREEZE buses on the eastbound side of Mission Road near both stations.

SPRINTER service will continue to operate to the west of the Palomar College and to the east of the San Marcos Civic Center stations. All westbound SPRINTER trains will depart the Escondido Transit Center, Nordahl Road and CSUSM stations 15 minutes ahead of posted schedule to allow time for connections via the bus service. All westbound trains departing from Palomar College should run on schedule. All eastbound SPRINTER trains from Oceanside and Vista are expected to remain on schedule; however eastbound trains departing the San Marcos Civic Center station may run up to ten minutes late.
Passengers using the bus bridge should note that bike and wheelchair capacity is limited on NCTD BREEZE buses.
