ENCINITAS — Road-To-Greatness Events is hosting a workshop with the theme of “Raising Self-Reliant Children in a Self-Indulgent World” from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 29, at the Encinitas Community Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive.The goal of the workshop is to empower parents, teachers, counselors, trainers, practitioners and teens older than 12 years of age, “as well as professionals from all walks of life.”
Featuring speakers will include Heir Oya Holiness, Rev. Leon Campbell Jr., Deanna Dupree, Vivian Chandler and champion skateboarder Dave Hackett.
