SDG&E officials are applying to increase their revenue requirement $111 million to $1.905 billion.
According to SDG&E, when the impact of commodity costs and other accounting adjustments are included, the increases actually result in a monthly bill decrease of 53 cents (-0.5 percent) for a typical residential electric customer, and a monthly bill decrease of 38 cents (-0.9 percent) for a typical residential gas customer, as compared to the 2015 bill.
The CPUC won’t make a decision until January.
